Wolfinery is a canine Complien with the Passion and Fire Elements. It grows from Polymeranian.
Appearance[]
It is a hexaped with four cylindrical legs and two long arms. Its thorax and abdomen are covered by two large shells, and the abdomen has two smokestacks coming out of it. It has three heads. Its skin is reddish brown. Without its smokestack, it is roughly the size of a small car.

Behavior[]
Wolfineries are pack animals, with one Wolfinery heading a group of 4-6 Polymeranians. They are diurnal.
Only one Wolfinery heads a pack at any time. If a Polymeranian grows into a Wolfinery, it and the current alpha will engage in a scuffle to determine who the alpha should be. The loser is exiled, possibly with a few other Polymeranians accompanying it.
In the spring, Wolfineries go into heat and seek out other packs. After mating, the female Wolfinery lays a dozen eggs, which are split evenly between the male and female. Whenever the pack becomes low on Polymeranians, the alpha Wolfinery will ingest an egg and heat it until it hatches into a new Polymeranian. Fertilized eggs can keep for up to 8 months.
Biology[]
They spend most of their time eating massive quantities of dry plant matter, which is internally burned and refined into a hydrocarbon slurry. The tower on their back is a distillation tower, in which the slurry is further refined into various useful petrochemicals.
They have six nozzles on their underside from which petrochemicals are released - two for naphtha, two for gasoline, and two for bitumen. Naphtha and gasoline are used by Polymeranians, while the bitumen is either discarded or given to Catsphalts commensally.
Their shells are mostly made of polyethylene terephthalate and heat-resistant ceramic, the former of which is maintained by the Wolfinery's Polymeranian entourage. The Plastick feeds on their shells and can lead to leakage, injury, or infection.
Habitat[]
Wolfineries reside mostly in Dornae. They live in hot, dry areas like grasslands and savannas.

Trivia[]
- Their smokestacks release sour gas and nitrous oxide. Chemotrophic bacteria living in the smokestacks digest most of the noxious fumes, but Wolfinery nests are still unpleasant to be around; they are usually kept away from urbanized areas in Dornae.
