Info[]
Sworld is a very windy planet. The average wind speed of a normal day is 15 m/s. Cyclones form very regularly, and two swirlstorms constantly crisscross around the equator and prime meridian. During monsoon season, entire land masses can be blanketed in water temporarily.
This is due to two factors - the very close distance from it and its sun, and the massive amount of water on the planet. The water absorbs a very large amount of solar energy, releases large masses of water vapor, and creates clashing cold and hot fronts, which leads to quite a bit of adverse weather conditions.
The gusty climate has also caused a lot of selection pressure on the wildlife, leading to flora and fauna specialized to harnessing the wind and water, such as the tiphone and the Flying Frox.
Beneath Sworld's crust lies a pattern of ley lines, exposed by the ocean beds (shown on the map as blue lines). These lines consist of rivers of Water-aligned complixonox in a liquid state. Where the ley lines flow underneath oceans, the ocean water pulses in a rhythm reminiscent of heartbeats and seems to react to the emotions, thoughts, and other psychic projections of sentient creatures.
