Scusse is a burly Complien that roams forests. It is of the Plain and Martial elements. It does not grow.
Appearance[]
Scusse look like brown, hexaped cervines with large, bowl-shaped antlers. They have a long snout and three tails, each with a bony spiked ball at the end. Their average adult size is 7 ft (2.1 m) tall and 10 ft (3 m) long, not including their horns or tails.

Habitat[]
Scusse are most commonly found in Eukiyfrenia and northern Comipea. They inhabit woodlands ranging from temperate to boreal, but can tolerate warmer climates.
Biology[]
Scusse are very strong animals. Their skin is tough enough to absorb small bullets, and their densely packed muscles allow them to charge at frightening speeds. Within their torso is an altered rib cage consisting of interlocking rib bones in a helical shape, resulting in a very strong skeletal structure.
They eat vegetation. Specifically, they eat tree twigs, nuts and berries, and moss, lichen, and algae. They also eat shrubs, leafy ground cover, and Erchungas. A single Scusse can eat over 70 pounds of plant matter a day.
The antlers and tail spike balls of a Scusse are made of bone. They are actually very rough, with fractal protrusions down to the microscopic level. Even rubbing the antlers or tail balls of a Scusse can shred one's skin.
Underneath the antlers of a Scusse are small channels that lead from the bowl-like cavity down to the Scusse's mouth. The Scusse can move a small muscle to block or open these channels, allowing it to store rainwater and then drink it later.
They are crepuscular.
Behavior[]
They generally avoid other animals. However, they are very territorial and become aggressive if provoked.
They migrate south in the winter and north in the summer, depending on local climate and food availability. They use magnetic fields to navigate.
They mate in the autumn. Scusse lay a single large egg just before winter and leave it buried under the snow. In the spring, the egg hatches into a Scusse calf.
