Erchungas are green, scorpion-like creatures with soft, plant-like skin, four pairs of brown legs, and a tail. They have two blue eyes and a mouth. They are only a few centimeters tall.

Habitat[]
Erchungas are common Compliens that live anywhere with grass, using it as both food and shelter. They are tolerant of a wide variety of temperatures.
Biology[]
They are poikilothermic and have a fleshy, non-chitinous body. They are herbivorous and eat nearly any kind of plant matter, even from another Complien. Their droppings are fertile soil, making them an essential species for most grasslands.
They give live birth through a cloaca. A single Erchunga can give birth up to 80 times within a one-month breeding period.
In the winter or whenever food is scarce, Erchungas will go into a hibernation mode where they photosynthesize instead of eating normally.
Behavior[]
Erchungas are not very intelligent. They have almost no memory and operate entirely on instinct. They often bump into walls.
Due to their wide range and ease of capture, Erchungas are eaten by a great variety of Compliens. Some examples include La Brheas, Grovines, Toaloas, Drillasps, and Crawlas.
