Crabuto is the Crab Complien. It belongs to the Water and Martial Elements. It can burgeon into Brachyoroi.

Appearance[]

Crabuto has a red carapace split into three separate layers. In the center of its carapace is a yellow structure that points upwards on both sides, with a chitinous fan in the middle. A yellow trip outlines its carapace separating it from its underside, which has two eyes with a mouth between them, a cream-colored center, and red-colored sides. Crabutos have six pointed legs at the sides of their body, and two large claws in the front. Crabutos usually walk sideways, so as not to trip over their many legs, and are able to retreat into their carapace whenever necessary.

Information[]

The shell of a Crabuto is extremely durable. Crabutos live on seashores, where they scuttle around, scavenging for small, acquatic Compliens to eat. Although their underbellies are weak, Crabutos' helmets are not, and when predators get near, Crabutos will retreat into their carapace for defense. If attacked, a Crabuto will retaliate by attacking with its claws, which may be slow and clumsy, but are extremely powerful and hold a tight grip. Whenever a Crabuto pinches, it is unlikely to let go of whatever it is pinching, and occasionally has to be pried off by an outside force. However, make sure its other claw is holding onto something before searching for help. As funny as it might be to watch two people flailing around in pain with a Crabuto holding onto them, it is not as fun to be one of those two people.

Crabutos will fortunately, rarely attack unless provoked themselves, as they are primarily defensive Compliens. That being said, keep a careful eye for Crabutos, which isn't hard, as their bright red shells do stand out in the sand. One does not want to provoke a Crabuto by complete accident.

Habitat[]

Crabutos live in tropical areas and shorelines, making them most common in Sheisil and Larantha, where they populate both the costs of the mainland and the many islands as well.

Trivia[]

  • Crabuto was originally named "Gensea," but it was renamed in 2019 when it was brought over to the Compliverse Wiki. Its design was slightly updated as well, with the mouth being moved between the eyes, and the shape of its head being slightly modified to resemble a samurai helmet more.
