Boilweed is a plant that grows near Amacil. It pulls magma from underground to warm itself.

It is composed of a vast network of organic tubing that funnels molten rock from underneath Amacil to the surface. At the surface, the boilweed opens up into a small opening from which heat comes out, flanked by four or five wide leaves. The exposed lava attracts animals that live nearby the boilweed, fertilizing it.
The boilweed has a stem woven of tungsten disulfide that creates nanotubes through which magma flows, powered by capillary action. Boilweeds can stretch many meters underground, and can regrow from their roots. This makes them almost impossible to excavate and remove.
Boilweeds will often absorb the lava tubes of other boilweeds to expedite growth.
